About the Role
Responsibilities
• Research attractions, restaurants, and more for popular destinations
• Design trip itineraries for domestic and international destinations
• Customize itineraries per client requests
• Build pricing for trips, including quotes from airlines, motorcoach providers, and hotels
• Create trip inclusion documents that cater to travelers
• Share detailed trip proposals that entice clients to contract with Guardian Travel Group
• Book all aspects of assigned trips, including transportation, overnight accommodations, attractions, • restaurants, performance venues, clinics/workshops, and more!
• Maintain a strong working relationship with vendors
• Keep organized records for all trip proposals and bookings
• Collaborate with sales staff to assist clients throughout the trip building and booking process
• Communicate with Guardian staff, clients, and travelers on details regarding trips
• Attend a weekly Operations Team meeting, daily 1-on-1 meetings, and other meetings as necessary

Requirements
Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required!
2+ years of past experience working in an office environment preferred, but not required!
Travel industry experience is a plus, but not necessary! You will receive extensive training to support your knowledge of our industry, services, and products.
Must be comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems, such as Google Suite, ClickUp, Travefy, WeTravel, and more.

Operations Coordinators are the backbone of Guardian Travel Group. They are responsible for building and booking trips, creating and maintaining relationships with vendors, and ensuring the success of group tours.
