Kara BlackTravel Consultant
KBlack@GuardianTravelGroup.com Kara Black graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Music Education. She is currently an elementary music teacher in Battle Creek, MI. She has been teaching for 25 years in a variety of positions including early childhood music, private voice lessons, middle school choir, and elementary general music. Teaching in the younger years is a tremendous honor because you get to be the one to set the stage for a lifetime of musical enjoyment. I know that I am making a difference in the lives of my students. Kara is married to Greg who teaches choir and guitar at the high school level. Greg introduced her to group travel back in 2001 when they took his choir to perform at Disney. They both had such an amazing experience that it became a tradition every two year to take either the band or choir to Disney. During the years when they did not go to Disney they took the choir to Toronto, New York City, Chicago, and Washington DC. Every trip was wonderful and it is always such a joy to see the students have an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Kara has been talking about her interest in working for a group travel company for years and she is so excited to be making her dreams a reality by being a consultant for Guardian Travel. In her personal life, she and her husband have done extensive travel with their two boys, Landon and Carter. They love to get out and see new things domestically and internationally. They are so proud of the bigger world view that their children have because of all of their experiences in travel. Kara is very excited to work with your groups to create a fantastic trip that your students will always remember. |
