Are you a master of communication and a wizard of organization? Do you thrive on building relationships and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish?
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Executive to serve as the critical link between our clients, our sales team, and our operations department. You will be responsible for taking the vision crafted during the sales process and seamlessly transitioning it to our operations team for flawless execution, all while ensuring the client feels supported and informed every step of the way.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during and post-sale, building strong, trust-based relationships throughout the trip planning and launch lifecycle.
Itinerary Creation: Work with the client and Travel Consultant to create memorable and cost effective itineraries. This involves taking detailed notes, asking questions to uncover the clients real needs and wants and translating those ideas to an RFP.
Project Oversight: Manage the overall planning timeline, monitor key milestones, and ensure that all deliverables are on track, within budget, and to the client's specifications.
Proactive Communication: Provide clients with regular, proactive updates on their trip planning progress, manage expectations, and professionally address any questions or concerns that arise.
Quality Assurance: Review itineraries, booking confirmations, and final trip documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with the client's vision before they are delivered.
Identify Growth Opportunities: Nurture client relationships to encourage repeat business and identify potential upsell or referral opportunities, looping in the Sales team as appropriate.
Abilities and Characteristics
Natural Project Manager: Takes ownership of projects and displays the ability to self delegate tasks that are necessary to achieve trip success. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable delegating tasks to others while being ultimately responsible for the work being performed.
