Are you a current or former educator with a passion for exploration? Have you ever planned a group trip and thought, "I could do this!” If you're looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity that leverages the skills you’ve perfected in your education career, we invite you to join our team as an Associate Travel Consultant.

This is your chance to trade lesson plans for travel plans and continue your mission to educate and inspire, with the entire world as your classroom.

Responsibilities

● Refer your Network: Leverage your existing database of contacts that you have cultivated over the years to offer Guardian Travel Group’s services.
● Consult and Collaborate: Work alongside our seasoned full time staff to plan your referral's perfect trip. If your full time work schedule is too demanding, we understand! We are happy to handle all of the execution while ensuring you are kept informed throughout every step of the process.
● Identify Growth Opportunities: Nurture client relationships to encourage repeat business or additional referral opportunities.

● Responsive and Responsible: Displays a high degree of responsiveness, promptly answers inquiries, requests and issues with a keen sense of accountability.
● Organized and Detail-Oriented: Utilizes organizational tools and systems to streamline workflows, track progress and maintain a structured work environment.

Compensation:

The Associate Travel Consultant position is paid via 1099 and receives a portion of total revenue from each trip they refer to Guardian Travel Group.

● Customer Friendly: Demonstrated ability to manage clients needs, wants, and expectations while delivering exceptional customer service.

● Teaching Experience: We are looking for current and former educators with a strong network in their region.

● Exceptional Communicator: You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and can confidently and professionally interact with clients.

● Relationship Builder: You are naturally empathetic and skilled at building rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.

● Problem Solver: You remain calm under pressure and are resourceful in finding solutions to unexpected challenges.

● Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using modern workplace tools such as Google Suite. However, if tech isn't your thing that’s ok! We will do the work for you.
